COA stands for Certificate of Analysis.
A Certificate of Analysis is a document that manufacturers produce that verifies the product they manufactured conforms to their criteria.
This document contains Supplier Information, Materials Identification, Transportation Data, Signature Data, and Evidence of Conformance. Evidence of Conformance holds the most important information in the COA. It states the specific characteristics, test results or other evidence in terms of industry standards, regulatory requirements or customer-specific request. In some cases, the performance standards expected will also be noted for reference.
