Expanding our Knowledge Base for our Fur Family

Woof Creek Co-Founders, Lisa + Scot, began taking their own 'pet health matters' into their own hands when their oldest fur kiddo, Lily, suffered severe allergies. Finding trusted animal professionals with expanded certifications in cleaner alternative modalities not only changed their Lily's life, it has now transitively changed thousands of pets' lives throughout the USA and beyond.

The clinically-based information shared below helped make the difference for us, and continues to holistically enhance our fur family's lives. Scroll down to the article.

Quinoa Sweet Potato Power Bark!

Quinoa Sweet Potato Power Bark!

Quinoa and sweet potatoes are great for our dogs because they work great together as a prebiotic. Dogs need food for themselves and food for the microscopic belly bugs in their guts. Healthy gut for a happy, healthier pooch!

Makes 24 treats

1 cup cooked quinoa

1 small sweet potato, cooked, peeled (1 cup)

1 cup quick-cooking rolled oats

2 tablespoons all natural peanut butter

1 tablespoon beef bone broth protein powder (optional)

1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar

Do ahead: Preheat oven to 325℉. Coat a small 9x13 baking sheet with cooking spray.

Place all ingredients into a large bowl. Stir with a sturdy spoon until blended into a very thick past. Stir for 1-2 minutes.

Spread paste onto the prepared cookie sheet. Press gently with your fingers until paste is evenly spread to the edges. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the bark pulls away from the edges of the pan. Let cool in the oven for 20 minutes then cut into any shape you want. If the edges get dry and crumble, then save them for a topper! Woof!
