Inside every healthy cat lives an entire ecosystem of microscopic organisms.  Trillions of bacteria, fungi, viruses, and other microbes work together each day. This incredible community is known as the gut microbiome, and it's becoming one of the most exciting areas of research in both veterinary and human medicine.

While we can't see it, this hidden world plays an important role in helping our cats digest food, communicate with the immune system, maintain a healthy intestinal barrier, and adapt to everyday changes.
