Our dachshunds' lowness seems to tempt unwanted pests, so I turn to natural/chemical free products to reduce the temptation. I appreciate the inclusion of neem oil in this spray in conjunction with other proven anti-bug essential oils. One of my dachshunds is anti spray, so I spray the product on my hands and rub it into his fur (he is pro massage, so it works out well).

I bought the meal topper for fleas and ticks but wanted extra protection. I have used a name brand scented cedar oil for repelling and killing fleas and ticks but my dog couldn’t stand it, the smell is very strong. It also built up in his coat quickly as I apply more frequently in the summertime. He doesn’t mind this and the smell isn’t as strong. That is a bonus but even bigger is the fact that he doesn’t get cedar oil buildup in his hair.

So far I've been using this whenever my dogs are outside for longer periods and it seems to work. I like the scent but, my dogs not so much.
